Our premium edition of the ubiquitous English Breakfast blend by The Country House is bold with notes of honeysuckle and gingerbread. Best enjoyed with milk and some lemon or honey. You can also brew The Country Breakfast in a 50:50 ratio with The Ambassador (our Calcutta Masala Chai) for added notes of spice!
Drink 'straight' or with milk (recommended), you can add honey (if you want a sweeter tea) and/or lemon (if you want a more sour/tart tea).
- The tea has a nice rounded, malty flavour and can be had straight (no milk but with lemon and honey) or with milk for a 'breakfast latte'.
- Perfect for any time in the day, less recommended for night due to some caffeine content (as it is a black tea base)
- Colour of brew should be: Reddish-Orange before addition of milk

Steep 1 teaspoon (2 grams) of tea leaves per cup (8 oz. or 250 ml) for 2-3 minutes in hot water. If you want a 'light' or less flavourful/strong brew, keep the leaves in the hot water for 1.5 – 2.5 mins. If you want a 'stronger' or more flavourful brew, keep the leaves in the hot water for longer (3 mins).
For iced tea, steep 2 teaspoons (4 grams) to 300ml of water and 'cold brew' over night in the refrigerator. Add some simple syrup/sugar for added sweetness if needed!
